Copper Peptides South Africa (GHK-Cu & AHK-Cu)

Copper peptides are short peptides that bind a copper ion. The best known is GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper), first isolated from human plasma, followed by its relative AHK-Cu, which is used in scalp and hair formulations. This page brings every Biolabs copper peptide product into one place, in two groups.

Biolabs Cosmetics. Our skincare and hair care range is made for everyday use: the 2% GHK-Cu copper peptide face serum, the 1% GHK-Cu + SNAP-8 serum, the 1% GHK-Cu face cream, the SNAP-8 + GHK-Cu renewal cream, the renewal mask, the body lotion, and the AHK-Cu hair and scalp serum, spray, shampoo and conditioner. These are formulated for smoother, firmer-looking skin and fuller-looking hair.

Research formats. For laboratory work we supply the GHK-Cu lyophilised vial, a pre-filled pen and a nasal spray solution, 99% cosmetic-grade GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu powders for formulation labs, and the GLOW and KLOW blends, which include GHK-Cu. These research products are not for human use.

Every batch is independently tested, with certificates on our COA page. To compare the ingredients, read copper peptide skincare explained and our GHK-Cu research guide. Delivery is free on South African orders over R2,500.

Copper Peptides South Africa: frequently asked questions

Questions researchers ask about this range

What is the difference between GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu?

Both are copper-binding tripeptides. GHK-Cu is the classic skin peptide used in serums and creams, while AHK-Cu is mostly used in scalp and hair formulations.

Should I choose the 1% or the 2% copper peptide serum?

The 2% GHK-Cu serum is our highest-strength face serum. The 1% serum adds SNAP-8 and suits anyone who wants a gentler copper peptide alongside a second peptide.

Can copper peptides be used with vitamin C or retinol?

Many routines alternate them, using copper peptides and strong acids or vitamin C at different times of day. Patch-test any new product first.

Are the GHK-Cu vials and pens the same as the serums?

No. Vials, pens, nasal sprays and powders are research or formulation materials and are not for human use. The Biolabs Cosmetics serums, creams and hair care are the products made for skin and hair.
